Gone Fishing Day Family Friendly Fishing – Lake Macquarie
October 13 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm AEDT
Join us for a reel good time!
Celebrate National Gone Fishing Day with the Lake Macquarie Chapter at Swansea Boat Ramp. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just starting out, this event is perfect for anyone who loves fishing and wants to enjoy a fun day by the water.
We’ll provide all the fishing gear, bait, and safety briefings you need to get started. You’ll have the chance to learn about safe and sustainable fishing practices, habitat restoration, and how you can contribute to a healthy future for our waterways. There will be a BBQ for everyone to enjoy and some great prizes up for grabs, especially for the kids!
This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with the OzFish community, meet fellow fishers, and learn how you can make a difference for Lake Macquarie’s fish habitats.
Registration is essential. We hope to see you there!
