Family Fishing Day – Upper Ross River

Join us at the Upper Ross River for a fun day of fishing hosted by the Reeling Veterans Townsville and OzFish Unlimited.
This is a family-friendly event with tips and tricks on fishing, knot tying, baiting hooks, teaching fish ID skills and safe fish handling.
There will be three boats on the water at a time with regular runs up and down the Ross River during the day that attendees can participate in.
We encourage everyone to bring their own fishing gear as we have a limited number of rods available on the day.
There will be a sausage sizzle at lunch and drinks on ice for purchase.
Please bring:
- Water bottle, sunscreen and a hat
- Fishing gear
