Eddie the Eel from Eight Mile Creek, Mt Gambier SA

Come along and discover the incredible lifecycle of the Short-finned Eel, told through drawings and narration by students from the Yahl Primary school.
‘Eddie the Eel from Eight Mile Creek’ is a family-friendly event focusing on eel migration, lifecycle, environmental threats and aquatic habitat restoration projects.
This event is one of over 400 Nature Festival events blooming all across South Australia this Spring School Holidays. This year, the festival explores the theme of Flow, from rivers and oceans to creative flow, impermanence, and ephemeral desert flow, to the flow of communities and generations.
