Our beautiful Bay has done it tough since the February flood and needs some tender loving care to bring it back to its best.

Please come along and join us in our clean up event on Mud Island in Moreton Bay. We will be spending the morning on the island, picking up as much rubbish as we can manage.  We will finish the event with a simple BBQ on the beach.

Please bring your own sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) and water.  You will need shoes that are suitable for walking on the muddy, rocky foreshores of the island. We will provide gloves and bags for the rubbish.

Be at Port of Brisbane boat ramp at 7.30am for registration and ready to leave at 8.00am; look for the OzFish signage.  Numbers will be limited by the number of boats attending. Our oyster barge, Quampie Pearl, will be available and can carry 9 people including the skipper.  If you are planning to come along and have your own boat, can you please email  centralmoretonbaychapter@ozfish.org.au and let us know what size boat you have and how many passengers you can take with you.
