Adelaide Chapter Meetup

We hope you can join us to kick off the new year and make headways for a big year of restoring local waterways in the Greater Adelaide region!
Inviting all recreational fishers, waterway users, locals, and stakeholders in Adelaide and surrounding areas to come and have a say in what we’d like to get done in our waterways as a part of the OzFish Adelaide Chapter.
We are looking forward to a big 2025. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s on the horizon:
- Seeds for Snapper 2025 seagrass restoration
- Port River Oyster Reef restoration
- Tackling litter
- Yabby Trap round up & dismantling
Importantly, this is an excellent opportunity for us to hear YOUR ideas and collaborate with other like-minded community members to discuss how to protect and improve waterways across Adelaide, and create improved habitats that create better fishing!
We are also looking for fish habitat champions to join the executive team. If you are an existing OzFish member, you can find more information about these roles within the Chapter Leadership Module on Scale Up – OzFish Online Training Kit. New and potential members welcome, come along to see what being an OzFish member is all about.
If you can’t make it in-person, but are keen to propose projects or apply for an Executive role, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
