Townsville Chapter
The Townsville OzFish Chapter was established in 2020 by a group of rec fishos looking to conserve and improve fish habitat. The chapter operates from Townsville and has a range of ongoing projects from the Herbert to the lower Burdekin. Prior to chapter formation, members of OzFish Townsville have been involved in organising tilapia fishing competitions, fish monitoring and improving connectivity in coastal wetlands
