JOIN the Chapter by becoming an OzFish Member today! The Illawarra Chapter will be tackling restoration projects of some of the most important fish habitats in coastal NSW. The Illawarra Chapter is ready to roll up their sleeves and get started with some projects in the area as covid restrictions lift. OzFish Illawarra will be taking on projects from Stanwell Park in the north to Shellharbour in the south, and everywhere in between.
Coffs Harbour Chapter covers a huge area spanning from Wooli, Ebor and Macksville. The types of fishing this area captures give this Chapter has huge potential to have fun restoring different types of fish habitat. The Chapter already has strong relationships with clubs, research centres, commercial partners and universities to help us do whatever we can to improve fish habitat. The Eurobodalla chapter consists of members from all walks of life. These are people who are passionate about their preferred fishing practices, they come to us from the avid angler and his local fishing club, right through to the casual social fisher who enjoys going it alone.
The MIA Leeton Chapter is associated with the anglers who participate in the Leeton Bidgee Classic Fishing Competition on the Murrumbidgee River. This is a huge three-day catch and release fishing competition held March every year. The Chapter holds its own projects such as re-nagging parts of the river to promote sustainability.
The Manning River OzFish Chapter is one of the newest chapters to be part of the OzFish movement. The group of passionate recreational fishers have a number of habitat restoration activities in their sites and they’re actively looking for new members to join their Chapter and give back to the sport they love. Their initial focus will be monitoring the water quality on the Manning River, particularly around Taree and Wingham, in addition to getting involved in rubbish clean-ups in the lower part of the estuary.

The OzFish Wagga Chapter was formed by a couple of keen local fishermen wanted to improve the fishing in the area. We have grown in numbers and have made some great friends along the way who all love fishing in the local area.
Formed by a group of fly fishing enthusiasts, the Hawkesbury-Nepean Chapter members have their sights set on restoring and conserving their local waters to ensure their fishery remains in top condition for years to come. The Hawkesbury-Nepean Chapter covers a massive area and has every breed of angler under the sun – beach, estuary, rock fishing and offshore.

OzFish Inland Waterways Chapter is based in Dubbo and focuses on fish habitat in Central West New South Wales. The River Repair Bus needs volunteers to join them on activities along the Macquarie Valley from Monday to Thursday. Half-day trips and full-day trips are an option.
