Paul Nagy

Paul has loved fishing and the Australian outdoors ever since he could walk, and is now passing that passion on to his three daughters.

In business, he is currently the Chief Creative Officer at Y&R Australia who has won every major international creative award including multiple gold lions at Cannes. He has worked on many major brands including Tourism Australia, Virgin Australia, Pepsico, Foxtel and Campbell Arnotts. His work has been featured at TEDX and included in WARC’s 100 Smartest Marketing Campaigns in The World.

He is also very proud to have been one of the creators of Gone Fishing Day in Australia.

Dr Ben Diggles – Senior Program Manager

Dr Diggles has worked with many clients in government, aquaculture, recreational fisheries, and commercial fisheries throughout New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the Pacific Islands. His core business areas include import risk analysis, biosecurity, fish and shellfish health, fish welfare, and development of feeding attractants and medicated feed for aquacultured finfish. In his spare time Dr Diggles studies the effects of declining water quality on our estuaries, see his presentation on Moreton Bay Oyster Populations, and is active in his local community developing solutions to these problems, like Shellfish Reef Restoration in Pumicestone Passage. Recent recognition of these activities has included winning the Moreton Bay Regional Council Australia Day Environment Award for 2017. 

Cassie Price – Director of Habitat Programs

Cassie is driven by a passion for sustainable resources, a love of fishing and her farming background. Her career spans more than 15 years in aquatic habitat restoration and sustainable agriculture projects, predominantly in NSW and Queensland. Cass has a keen understanding of community driven conservation from her experience working with WetlandCare Australia as a Program Manager and more recently with Landcare NSW as Operations Manager.

Based in Ballina, Northern NSW, Cass is a keen recreational fisher, taking time when she can to enjoy ocean fishing the east coast and occasionally getting back to her childhood home in South Australia to fish the Gulfs or the Coorong beach.
