Fish Habitat Forum inviting Tasmanians to learn more about their local fish habitat
Recreational fishers are invited to attend a free community Fish Habitat Forum in Moonah Tasmania hosted by OzFish Unlimited at the Cooleys Hotel on December 9.
The forum will provide anglers with the latest information on improving fish habitat and advice on how they can get involved with projects in and around Tassie.
The Fish Habitat Forum is an opportunity for the general public interested in fish and recreational fishing to learn more about the environments that support fish and the actions that are underway to address problems within the local environment.
CEO and Founder of OzFish Unlimited Craig Copeland said, “The community forum will provide an opportunity for fishers to get actively involved in restoring their local habitats for fish and better fishing.”
It aims to build awareness and knowledge about the future of fish habitat, habitat change and the implications for sustainable fish populations.
Become part of a network of recreational anglers learning from each other about fish habitat and local projects.
Speakers will include, Craig Copeland CEO of OzFish Unlimited and Dr Cayne Layton from the University of Tasmania.
