Hayato Murai – Intern

Originally from the United States, Hayato is studying for his master’s degree at James Cook University focusing on Fisheries and Conservation Management. Upon completing his degree, he plans to apply his new skills and experience in conservation on salmon fishery management, in his home state of Oregon. He is working with OzFish to learn more about the challenges associated with complex conservation management.
