How do we end fish kills in our backyard?

April 3 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm AEDT

Richmond River fish kill, March 2025

What is that smell? Why is our river going belly up? Are there any fish left? What can we do to fix this?

If these are the questions on your mind, come down to the Ballina RSL and get the answers as the founder of OzFish – Craig Copeland, gives the simple version of the science and solutions.

We want fishers, river-lovers and community members to understand the cause of the recent fish kill event and, most importantly, what can be done to help prevent more fish kills in the future.

We have a clear solution at our doorstep, and that’s restoring the Tuckean Swamp, so come and find out how you can help make this happen.

Date: Thursday 3rd April 2025
Time: 6pm – 7pm AEDT
Venue: Ballina RSL, 1 Grant St, Ballina NSW 2478
